Position/ Valuation Specialty:

As a Director and Principal for Foxboro Consulting Group, Inc., Ron is responsible for the sales of all appraisal and valuation engagements in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Maine, Connecticut and metropolitan New York.

Valuation/ Appraisal Experience:

Ron Adams prepared over 200 business enterprise valuations (“BEV”), and has advised numerous clients in mergers and acquisitions, asset divestiture, new business planning and development, managed care contract negotiations, strategic pricing and sensitivity, business valuations. He provides litigation support and expert witness testimony in various legal matters involving business valuations, economic damages, loss of income and compensation. He assisted two internet based e-commerce companies grow their businesses through an acquisition strategy. He prepared feasibility studies for acquisitions, developed financing plans, structured numerous acquisition term sheets and developed revenue maximization strategies. He prepared numerous financial forecasts for inclusion in debt offering circulars including forecasted income statement, balance sheet, cash flows, and statements of shareholders’ equity, including notes and assumptions.

Over the past ten years Ron has broadened his consulting skill set by serving as a Director of healthcare consulting with a “big five” public accounting firm, as Vice President for Finance of a 200+ bed acute care community hospital, and as the founder and president of his own management consulting firm.

Ron specialized in operations improvement, business office reviews, strategic and financial planning, and third party reimbursement maximization strategies. Ron prepared planning studies for two community hospitals and a six physician hematology/oncology group involved in an outpatient “cancer center”. Ron prepared numerous business plans and negotiated manage care contract arrangements on behalf of hospitals.

Ron has served as Vice President for Finance for a 217 bed acute care hospital with five off-site OPD clinics. He was responsible for the financial viability of the hospital and for the development and maintenance of all policies and procedures required to assure financial control of the hospital and related entities, including a development foundation and management company.
